Elements of a Feature Story

Feature writing tells the reader a story, which I aspire to do within my double page spread. The feature story always starts with a lead, which will grab the reader's attention and drag them into the story. It continues with a nut graph, which is a summary of what the story is going to be about. Then, a direct quote connects with the nut graph. The transition after the quote allows the story to flow and it can be an important fact or use any transition words. The direct quote and transition sequence goes on until the story is done. My feature story will be using direct quotes from the interview questions that were posted previously.
