Double Page Process: Canva

I chose a template and replaced the picture with my own. 

Then I added my own text, which was the final feature story that was previously posted on my blog.
I combined both pieces of the double page spread.

I edited the image used for the left side of the double page spread.

I also added text to the image to make it known of who was in the picture.

Rough Draft Feature Story

Shaneika Lopez sat in her room, crying, wondering why her mom would say such horrible things to her. She was only in elementary school, and certainly she shouldn’t be thinking about her weight at such a young age.   Her mother telling her, “Stop eating so much, you’ll get fat”, and other things that would only lower Shaneika’s self-esteem.
